Millet-Beetroot Idli

Millet BeetrootIdliis a nutrient-rich, fiber-packed dish that supports digestion, heart health, and weight management. Ingredients

Millieartth Multi Millet Idli Mix: 1 cup

Curd: 1/2 cup; Water: As required (to dilute the batter)

Vegetables: ½ cup grated beetroot, additional vegetables of your choice (onion, tomato, capsicum, chili, coriander, etc.)

Spices: Black pepper, pink salt, chili flakes, oregano seasoning (as per taste)

Eno/fruit salt: 1 teaspoon

Recipe (Time: 20 minutes)

Step 1: Take one cup of millieartth multi millet idli mix. Mix it with half a cup of curd and mix well.

Step 2: Add finely grated beetroot to the soaked mix. You can also add a choice of vegetables. I have additionally added finely chopped chili and coriander (optional).

Step 3: Add a masala of your choice. I have added black pepper, pink salt, chili flakes, and a small quantity of oregano seasoning. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4. Dilute the mixture with water to make it a smooth medium-thick batter. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda (eno/fruit salt) to the mixture.

Step 5. Grease idli molds, pour the batter, and steam it for 12-15 minutes.
